What a year this has been.

So i know that I've been bad at not posting things that are going on in my life. Well here you go I'll get it all done in one post. Stephen has gotten us moved into our bedroom, I'll post pictures later when it's all done and cleaned. He's been working hard and trying to get the house ready so we can refinance our home. I'm so thankful for what he has done for me and given me in the last year. He's been working hard at work but is still able to come home and play with the kids. Ashley is getting bigger every day. It seems like she is learning so much out of what she does. She loves to color and play with her brother and of course watch her cartoons. I mean what kid her age doesn't like cartoons. But no she is getting smart. Every time I'm on the phone she has her own phone that she fallows me around the house and repeats what I'm saying. I sure do love that girl. She has changed my life the minute I had her. Ryker is getting so big. He was wanting to walk now and he's taking his little steps here and there. Tonight he walked from the coffee table to the couch at my friends house. I was so thrilled. He talks alot but most of the time he is saying daddy of course.

Resently we went to salt lake for christmas with Stephens mom and dad. We had so much fun there. We even got to eat at one of the places that man v food went and ate at. IT was so fun. We were able to eat our lunch outside in the middle of the day and not be freezing. There was no snow there and there was green grass. We even took the kids to the aquarium for the first time. Ashley loved every moment of it. WE got great pictures of her there. So I would have to say that this year has been so much fun. We got to have Ryker's first birthday this year and Ashley got to have some preschool. But, one of the best things about this year is that we got to move into our bedroom. Steve has done such a great work on it. I love her to death. Well here are some pictures of all our great adventures.

Ryker's First birthday.

So for ryker's first birthday he had a blast. We ended up giving him two birthday parties, one at my parents house and then the other at Steve's mom and dad's home. He enjoyed eating the cakes but he didn't car so much for opening his presents which is fine. I just can't believe that he is a year old. I love him so much. He has been a handful with all the hospital visits and such but I don't know what I would do with out him. He completed my family and I love him so much.

Christmas.

So this year for christmas we're going to salt lake with steve's parents and our kids. It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait. We're leaving on the 23, which is actually our 4 year anniversary and we're staying until the 26 which is that sunday. Can't wait I'm in need of some vacation time even though we're only going to salt lake.

Our Carpet.

Yes we finally have carpet in our bedroom. Here soon maybe this weekend we can move in and actually sleep in the bedroom and not in the living room. But oh how steve has done so much and so has my father in law. Don't know what we would do with out him. He built our dressers and even more and they look so beautiful. thanks Mike your such a life saver.

Ashley's first feild trip.

For her first field trip was to the Dinosaur museum. She had a blast with all her little friends and I loved it because I was the one teaching. She is doing good in this preschool. She has on little friend that she loves being around. Every time they are out playing these two girls are together all the time. Here are some pictures of her day.

Ashley's first day at school.

So today was Ashley's first day at preschool and she loved it. We went this morning and dropped Ryker off at Grandpa's house so we could go and so I could stay for the whole thing. But after a while she looked like she could handle is by herself so I told her that I was going to leave and she said ok and I love you. So I went to the store and then went to get Ryker. When I went to go pick her up she was so happy and said she had fun. So I think that this will be the best thing for the both of us. We'll see how things work. I'll post pictures later of her. She looked so cute.

Tile

So we're putting tile in our new bedroom and bathroom. Last night we had rob come over and put the grout down. Can I say it looks amazing. I so love the way tile looks to where i don't even want carpet in my house anymore. The only problem with that is tile is so expensive. I love how things are going together. I just can't believe that after three years it's coming along.

I love this saying.

I've carried children within my body, I have comforted a baby on my chest, I have kissed booboos, mended broken hearts, been puked & peed on, woke up in the middle of the night to a feverish child & more. But I wouldn't have it any other way. My body isn't magazine perfect, but ..when I look in the mirror I see a mom. ...and there is no greater honor or blessing.

And that is what I am. I see all of these things in side of me. I love both my kids with all my heart and nothing will change that. Not even the fights that Ashley and I have, or the screaming that Ryker does when he isn't getting attention.

So I'm wanting to take up photography since Steve has a nice camera and I have the time. Well here are some pictures I've taken.

Projects.

So ever since we have moved into this house we have had projects after projects. I love this house but it was a little much for me. So we have been remodeling the bedroom bathroom to make it into a master suite. It's taken us about three years now and we finally have tile laid down. I so love the husband I have. He puts his mind to getting something done when he wants it done. Well, now we have that project and also a fence in our front yard and we even bought a new camper. Well it's new to us. We weren't able to go up camping this year but we sure will when hunting season comes along. But I do have to say I have to best husband ever. He gives me anything that we need. I love you steve and Your the most priceless thing I could ask for.

Ryker says momma.

Yesterday I was laying in bed when Ryker came up to the bed and started saying momma. I was so proud of that. He has said dadda for awhile now and when he would say that Ashley would tell him he needed to say momma. Well I guess he wanted to listen to her. Haha I do love her when she does things like that. So now when he wants something he says momma or when he's tired he'll crawl to me saying momma in between crying. What a big boy I have on my hands.

Ryker's First teeth.

Ryker finally got teeth. Yes I said it, Teeth. I noticed them on Tuesday August 24. We were over at Jody's house waiting for dad to come home from getting a jeep with Rob. I was just wondering if he had gotten some and when I put my finger in his mouth he bit me. Then after that he kept on biting my toes. Why my toes. That's okay, I'm just really glad he got some.

Ashley's 3 birthday.

So for her birthday I made it so much fun. We had two parties, one for all her friends and then the second for family. Well the one for her friends was so cute. We had an egg race which only one kid broke his egg, then we had a pin the tie on spongebob and then last we had a spongebob cake. My mom was the one who made the cake for the family party and it was so amazing. She did an excellent job. I will have to post pictures later but it was great. Can't believe I have a 3 year old. She is so cute I love her to death.

Updating.

I have been meaning to up date this blog for so long, but as you can see I haven't in like a month. Well from now on I'm going to try my hardest to update. So get ready here I come.

Planning....

So I'm planning for ashley's birthday party and it's a lot of work. She is having one on Friday and Saturday. One if for her friends and then the other one is for a big family one. I can't believe that she is already three. I remember when I had her and oh she was a cute little baby. I remember that while in labor I decided that I was going to have a c-section and it scared me so much because I had no clue what I was getting into. After having her I knew she was supposed to be with me and Steve. She is our little angel. Forever and ever. I love you Ashley always.

buncos.

So this weekend I had buncos at my house and ohhh my gosh I had a lot of things that I had to do in order to get ready. I had to clean my house, laundry, clean the patio and then cook. I was able to get in the shower just like an hour before everyone came here.Other then that it was good. Everyone loved the food and the weather was great. Can't wait until next time.

digging holes.

So me and steve are putting up a fence in our front yard to keep the kids in and off the road while their playing. So since we started doing this steve has been the one who has dug the holes, and can I tell you I give him credit for all of it. I went out side to help him this morning and oh my gosh it was hard and tiring. I know that I'm so out of shape. I helped him and I'm so sore and sunburned because silly me I didn't wear any sunblock or a good t-shirt. But it was fun, I was able to talk to steve while the kids were in the house. I love my husband to death I don't know what I would do with out him. He's my best friend, and my lover all in one. Love ya honey.

A day at the park.

Here are some cute pictures of Destiny and Ashley at the measer park. These two love each other and are like sisters. They can't wait to play with one and other but then when they do they sure do fight. I love my niece so much. I remember when I was first watching her when she was little. Now she has an attitude to go with how tall she is getting. Then there is Ashley who may be small but oh my she sure can stick up for herself.

Cooking.

So today I was in the mood to cook up some potatoe salad and some deviled eggs. Well the whole time I was making these things Ashley stood up to the counter with a chair and was in Awww with what I was doing. While I was getting the shells off the eggs she was holding the paper towel and playing in the shells. She was so cute. Then after I got done with the deviled eggs she wanted to lick the fork and bowl. I told her that when I was her age grandma would do that with me and let me lick the bowl and the fork. She just laughed at me. She is so cute and is so smart that there are some times I don't know how to handle her. She catches on to things so fast. It was a nice little time with just her. Ryker was taking a nap. I do love spending time with her.

Ryker 7 months old.

So my little man is now 7 months old almost 8 months. Can't believe that he's so big. He weighes over 15 lbs. He's already scooting around my house. I caught him today in between the wall and the fridge. When he new I was there he got his head stuck side ways with his nose pressed up to the fridge like a pigs nose. It was funny just wish I would have taken pictures. Here are some cute pictures I have taken of him.

Ashleys first hair cut.

So today I took Ashley to get her very first hair cut. She loved it. She talked the whole time and looked in the mirror while she was getting it styled. My little girl is growing up so fast. Here soon she is going to be three years old and I just can't believe it. Well here are some pictures of her new hair cut.

Cleaning

So I have been cleaning my house for the past week. And when I say cleaning I mean deep cleaning. I'm going through and throwing away stuff that we don't even use. I have managed to get my kitchen cleaned and most of ashley's room. Next spots are the laundry room and the living room which I seem to not use any more. I feel bad I wanted my couch so bad and now it doesn't even get used unless someone comes over and even then we don't use it that much. So any way I think I need to get cleaning some more and oh yea francis and I are making some yummy bread. I love making bread.

Losing weight.

So here it is, I'm so tired of every month I have gained a pound. I want to lose the weight not gain it. Then all the while Steve is losing weight like it's nothing. I'm so frustrated with this that I want to give up but I know I can't or I wont be happy with the way I am. Well here's wishing to me that I will lose some weight this month.

Bathroom time.

Well I know some of you don't want to hear this but then some of you have already gone through this. I was using the restroom at my house and ashley came in and told me to don't forget to wipe and flush the toilet. OH how much I love that she can talk but some days it just amazes me. What a smart girl I have right.

Not a good feeling day.

Well this morning I woke up with a scratchy throat and now I'm so tired from being up at 5:30 and then with the kids I haven't gotten any sleep. When I was going to sleep the phone rang over and over so what am I supposed to do now. Well I will tell you, I guess I have to stay a wake and just deal with it right. Oh the fun of being a mother and a wife.

Ashley's First bike ride.

So Steve is starting to ride his bike now to help him tone up and lose some more weight. So we got a bike seat for ashley so she could go along with him. Their first time going she was so excited that she got to go with her daddy. Steve said it was good other then the fact that when they were coming home he got bit by our neighbors dog. I mean this dog is a big yellow lab and it bit him pretty hard. Well you decide if it did or not. Here's some pictures.

What a busy life I live.

So I know I haven't updated my blog yet for a while actually but here goes. Well, ryker is doing a lot better. He's still breathing fast but it's not as bad as it was before. Ashley is getting better at talking then I ever thought a three year old could. She was sitting out side with us last night and was saying martha frogger but of course it didn't sound a thing like that. It sounded like something else and if you don't know then well use your imagination for that one. Ryker is wanting to start crawling he can at least get his toys now with out screaming. As for me and steve well, we're still doing just great. I know there are times that I do complain alot about him and my life but hey I have two kids under three right now. So give me a break. But all in all I do love my life, my husband and my kids. So for now I don't know what else to say other then I'm going to try to keep things up dated for everyone. At least I said try right.

I hate dr. visits.

So lately we have been taking ryker to dr. visits on a regular time. Well yesterday, was supposed to be his six months visit and he was supposed to get his shots and all of the regular checkup. Well he ended up falling off the table and landing 2 and a half feet on the ground. I felt so bad that I came home and just cried because it was so scary. I was turned to my side for just a second to help ashley get off the chair and he rolled over the side. We had to get him a cat scan of his head and his neck. The test came back negative but it was still scary. I hope that never happens again. Just thought all the family who reads this might want to know. I'll keep you informed on all the other things that is going on with him.

It's my birthday.......

Well today is my 22 birthday. I feel so old and at the same time I want to still act like a kid. Here are some things that I have accomplished in my last year. I was able to have another kid. Ryker has been the best birthday gift steve has ever gave me. I have been able to get baptized into the church and even got a calling this last couple of weeks. My calling is I get to work in the nursery. I start this sunday, I'm so excited. We have been able to work more on the house so that is a great start. So far my last year has been good I just can't believe that I have two kids by the age of 22. What an amazing thought that is. I'm looking forward to see what this year brings me. We'll see.

Sorry haven't posted anything.

I'm getting really bad at not posting things on my blog. I guess I'll up date you of what has been going on in our lives. The last week in march ryker had to be in the hospital with rsv. We had to come home with oxygen and a monitor again, but this time his toe didn't get burned or scared like it did last time. Ashley is getting bigger every day and what she says will just make you laugh after hearing some of it. Last weekend me and the kids went to colorado to see my family. I really do miss them so much. I was able to get some pictures and videos of the kids with my grandparents which are their great grandparents. We had fun hunting for eggs and even decorating them. Now we're just trying to get back in to the swing of things here at the house with cleaning and go to the parks and just having fun. Both kids are feeling much better. Ryker is a little congested and so is Ashley but, their breathing is good. So that's just a little summary of what has been going on in our lives. I'll try to be better at posting but can't promise I will do so.

Rsv.

So ryker has finally caught rsv. I have had him tested 5 times before this and he caught it. He had to go into the hospital again on wednesday through friday. I really like the hospital for some reasons, but for other reasons like waking us up after ryker has been asleep for 20 min. The good thing is that the food is really good. Well now I'm trying to get him to where he isnt so congested. I can't get anything out of his nose any more. So its 12:30 in the morning and we're sitting on the bathroom floor with the hot water going to help with the congestion. What a life being a mom when you have to do this. I sure love him but I would sure love my sleep.

I love my mom...

My mom was so sweet. She wanted to have a date with me tonight and we haven't had one for a while. We went and saw the play at the high school. It was called Once upon an mattress. I know weird title right well. It's based on the fairy tale the princess and the pea. The book is by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer. I think I'm going to get that book at the library next Monday. Well everyone is asleep and now it's my turn.

I loved my day spending time with the kids and even made 4 loves of bread. Now its movie time watching cars.

Aww my family.

I love my family so much. Steve gave me the best weekend in my life. We got to share a night and a full day just the two of us at home. For once I didn't mind staying at home with him. I even enjoy having the kids home with me. Ashley was home for about not even an hour and fell asleep on my lap. She hasn't done that for almost a year and a half. Yeepee, and Ryker is even asleep. So I love life right know and I'm blessed everyday for what I have.

Awww what a nice weekend.

So my in-laws were so nice to take both my kids this weekend. I have had the best time with steve that I forgot what it was like to just have me and him alone together. Thanks for everything Mike and Deanna Your a life savior.

Why do we have to fight....

Me and Ashley are having the hardest time to even be in the same room. I tell her to do something she refuses, Steve tells her to do something she giggles and does it. I'm so over this. I cry at night thinking I'm the worst mother in the world and all she wants his him. Why or Why. Why would god give me this angel and then make it hard for me to take care of her. Maybe i wasn't supposed to be a mom. I think I messed with fate in that way and now I'm paying for it. What am I supposed to do. How am I supposed to feel good about being a mom when I have all this trouble. Maybe it will get better soon I don't know, I think I have to pray about it.

Oatmeal whoppie cookies.

These made a great hit at the family dinner this Sunday. I had a blast making them and they are really healthy.
Here's the recipes....

Original Recipe Yield 3 dozen

Ingredients

• 2 cups packed brown sugar
• 3/4 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 3 tablespoons boiling water
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups quick cooking oats
• 1 egg white
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 3/4 cup shortening

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheets.
2. Cream butter or margarine with the brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and mix well. Stir in the salt, cinnamon, baking powder, boiling water, baking soda and flour. Mix to combine. Stir in the oats.
3. Drop cookies onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cookies cool then make sandwiches from two cookies filled with Whoopie Pie Filling.
4. To Make Filling: Beat egg white. Mix in the milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Beat in the shortening and remaining 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Beat until light.

Bowling

It's interesting how much you can love something. Well this year has been an interesting year with bowling. In the beginning i was only supposed to coach for a couple of games until I had ryker. Then my replacement coach wasn't able to coach because he's to young, so I had to come back and coach my team. Well my team had only 5 players when I came back because the ones that wanted the other coach didn't want to play with me being their coach. Oh rude let me tell you. Anyways back to my story. We're down to the very end and doing a tournament and my team let a lone has been at the very top of the boys teams. We bowl today against our other boys team for uintah, who we beat yesterday. Wish us luck hopefully we can win again. yeepee.

Awww sleep...

Ryker slept all night last night. It was so nice not having to get up every three hours. But, now he has slept all day and I'm worried I wont get enough sleep. At least it was nice for a day that he slept all night that one time.

Ryker 3 months old.

I caught Ryker sleeping in the changing table with his leg through some of the rails. I was laughing so hard when I saw him.

A day with ashley....

Today was one of my best days. I took ashley to a group thing called a wiggles and giggles. She had so much fun. At first she was sortof scared but after a while she started to have fun. We danced and singed different songs. One of my favorites was Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear. I remember when I was a little girl and I used to sing this song when we would jump rope. It was so much fun. Then we went to coffee talk with some of our mom group friends. Even though I don't drink coffee it was fun to sit and chat with everyone. I love days like this. I'm bad at blogging....

So, I know that I'm bad at blogging but I just really haven't had much to really say. The family is doing great. Ryker weighes over 11 lbs now and ashley is getting a bigger vocab then she used to have. Steve has been the sweetest husband in the world. I feel bad but i complained about my bedroom not getting finished so now he has made it his top job to work on it so he's working on it every minute he gets. WooHoo. So other then that nothing is new. I'll get back to letting everyone know whats going on in our lovely lives.

Playdates.

Today was supposed to be ashley playdate with some of her friends from the moms group. But, unforuntually they had to cancel because they weren't feeling good. So after I got off the phone and told her that we would have to plan on another day she kept asking me for friends to come over. I felt so bad. I can't believe that my little girl is already asking for friends to come over. How cute.

It's amazing what kids say and think.

I hate long nights.

I really hate it when steve has to work long nights. I have relied on him to help with ashley and help me relax a little while, but when he is working late I can't even sleep. I hope these late nights don't last to much longer. We'll see.

My life with my family......

I have not posted for a week or so but here we go. I will tell you the life of me with my family. I love everything about my life, my kids, my husband, and just everything that I'm able to do. I have really stareted to appriciate having steve home every night, I relay on him more then he thinks and more then I thought I did. He has been having to go out of town to work at different shops for his work to fix problems so when he's gone I have both of the kids and I just have a problem keeping sane. But once he's home everthing goes back to normal. My kids give me all of the biggest moments in life and it comes in the smallest packages. Ashley is talking more and more each day and now Ryker is even starting to smile at me when I talk to him. Then I'm blessed that steve does let me stay at home and watch the kids and more or less do whatever I want to just as long as the house is kept up on. So what else can I tell you about my life other then the fact that I'm so bless to be where I'm at and with who is with me. Thanks for everyone who is in my life to make it blessed in all the ways that they can.

A day with two kids.....

So today started off just a normal day expect I have two kids that all they do is cry and whine. Granted I do have a two month old and that's all he can do, but my 2 year old daughter is another story. I just don't know how to really get through her little mind that you don't have to whine to get everything you want. Also when her dad come home that's when she doesn't listen to me and it just get worse. I'm hoping Ryker doesn't do the same thing but nowing my like he will. It just never fails when one little thing happens it usually causes one major thing to happen. Well wish me luck and hopefully tomorrow will come out good because I get to go to buncos.

Why people have to be mean....

So I just don't know what makes people have the reason to be mean to someone who didn't do anything wrong. A lot of people may think that they know someone really well. Well enough to help when they need it or even just hang out with that person. But, when that one person you thought you knew says something mean, or even does something that you didn't think they would ever do to you it really hurts. That happened to me today, and I don't know what I did to that one person. I can't even know what all to say to even ask that person. Sometimes I guess you have to just put things aside and forget, but even then it still hurts.

Finally a day with church...

So I was finally able to go to church since ryker's been born. It was a very good day, only we were able to make it to sacarment and nothing more. I came home after sacarment for an hour and was trying to get a bottle ready for the second part and I was so dumb I dumped all of the bottle down the drain. It was like 5 minutes before I was going to leave. Maybe next sunday I will make it to everything. Lets hope.

The start of a new year....

The start of the new year has started off really good. The only problem is that I'm so tired at it's only the second day. But my goals for this year is to lose 30 pounds by next year and then to try 3 new recipes a month. I can't wait to lose all the weight. Two reasons for that, one is because me and Steve have a new competition going on and second is because I will lose all the pregnancy weight from both kids. Yea I know some say that's going to be hard to do but I'm looking forward to it. The recipes I'm also looking forward because I have been enjoying trying new food, I've also have eaten onions and I hated onions. So we'll see how I do with these to tasks. Wish me luck.
