I really hate laundry....

I hate laundry because it just seems to pile up and you can never get a head of things. I have to do laundry at least every day just to stay on top of the big piles that I usually get. So that's what I get the pleasure of doing while the kids are sleeping for once. yepppe

My last week and a half....

So this has been my last week and a half. It started off just normal, being at home with the kids. Until tuesday when I had to take Ryker to the doctors office for some results. We ended up in the hospital that night for phnomia (sorry can't spell). So we ended up staying in the hospital for two days, which ment I spent my third annivisary in the hospital. I know what a drain. We were able to leave on christmas eve with oxygen and a monitor to watch his o2 levels and his heart rate. Well, I was able to take him off of oxygen on sunday and had to take him into the doctor's office today for a follow up. While there we took the monitor off his foot and his toe was really red because I had the dang thing on to tight and I didn't know it. I also didn't understand that you had to move the monitor from foot to foot so he wouldn't get hurt and I didn't do that. So now I have to watch his toe to make sure it doesn't get infected. I feel like the worst mom in the whole world. I even cried in the doctors office when they had to have another doctor come in the room and look at his toe. So that has been my last week and a half. So tell me if he had a good first christmas. I think not and I also think like I'm torturing this little guy and he's only 6 weeks old.

What a day.

It all started out last night at around 12 oclock. Ryker would not sleep so of course he kept me up for 4 and a half hours. Sounds like fun right, not. Then today he would not sleep at all so I didn't get anysleep. One good thing about tonight was me and steve was able to go out to dinner just the two of us. That is a first that we went out during the week. I loved every moment of it. He also took me down to the shop to see his projects. I can't wait to go rock crawling this next summer. I'm so excited. Then we came home and found out that I now need to make an appointment for Ryker because there is a couple of things that are worring me about him. So right now I'm going to finish this and get some much needed sleep. If I'm lucky he'll sleep alot tonight. Please, lets hope so.

So tell me this....

Why is it when your exhausted and tired it seems that you have everything going on in your head right at that moment. Like doing laundry, or dishes, or even getting dinner ready. But, after you start some of those tasks you end up getting your second wind. That's what happened for me tonight. I was watching a movie and thinking I would love to take a nap, but unfortunatly I had to get dinner started which by the way was excellent. While making dinner I ended up getting my second wind thankfully or I wouldn't have been able to make it. Although I did have my little helper Ashley. She had a blast watching me and helping where ever she was allowed. Now after everything is done my second wind is dying down and I'm feeling like I had only gotten 5 hours of sleep last night. So I think I'm going to end this with saying goodnight to everyone and wish me luck maybe I will get some sleep tonight right. Just maybe.

Christmas Shopping.

I have found that people in vernal are so mean when it comes to chirstmas shopping. They want what is new and sometimes they are even willing to steal it out from someone elses hands. The point of christmas is not the gifts and all of the new toys, it is being with family and loved ones. The point of christmas is not the giving or reciving of presents it is the giving and recieving help to someone who is in need of it. If you are going to turn down someone who is giving you a blessing or a gift of help, you are also turning down that person to recieve the blessing of helping someone out. When you help someone out that will give you more joy then recieving a present bought from the store. So please remember that when you go to the store and buy all of the new toys and are mean this time of the year. Merry christmas and a happy new year.

A long day.

How do you get a two year old to where they are able to go to the bathroom all day long. I have had tonz of times where Ashley just looks at me and then pees in her underware. I just can't believe it sometimes. She is just a lot smarter then that and she doesn't show it at all. She just looks at me and then smiles and says that I peed in my panties. Tell me how that shouldn't get me upset. Hopefully someday soon she will get the message that she is not supposed to do that. Maybe.

Starting a new day.

Last night Ryker got up at least every 2 hours. That's quite normal for him. Then around 8 is when Ashley wanted to get out of her room. While I was feeding Ryker last night I started thinking that my life has changed a lot in the last three years. I have gotten married, bought a house, I had Ashley, and now I have Ryker. I just can't believe how time flies when your not even thinking about it. By this time next year ashley will be three and ryker will be one. That just makes you want to capture every moment you have with your kids and with your family. "It's the little moments in life that make it so big." That is my favorite saying because of my little kids, their always making my life big with eveything they do. Mostly Ashley makes my life big just because she is able to get into everything. Wish me luck with my little ones, I will be needing it.

Can't believe a day can be so long.

Today started out at 6 in the morning. I can't believe that two kids would get up as much as they do. They are such little angels when their sleeping but once a wake, watch out. I love them to death but I also love my sleep sometimes as well. Hopefully something will change here in the next few months. Right it should. We'll I'm going to get some maybe. Wish me luck.
